In September Positive Aid again teamed up with Kevin O'Halloran and went to Smorgon orphanage, in the north of the country, to renovate toilets. Diarmuid Keane and Martin O'Shea represented our group and there was 10 volunteers in all at the job.

In October Kenny O'Flaherty and Danny McCarthy transported a load of aid again in association with Dunshaughlin Chernobyl Group, Co. Meath. It mainly comprised of building material for the continued renovation of the orphanage. Also there were computers, hospital beds, wheelchairs, walking franes and topped with cloths and toys.

Many thanks to Denis Vnuchko who organised everything for us in Belarus.

Our truck is again donated by Tom O'Donnell International Transport (see Transport)

Positive Aid are also co-funding a new roof on one wing of the orphanage building which is great need of repair.



It is hoped that this will be completed before December and the snow.
