Tom O'Donnell, of Tom O’Donnell International Transport, Dublin, was born and grew up in Cloghane, Co. Kerry. Tom is a long standing supporter of our fund, donating one of his trucks and trailers each year. Many, many thanks to Tom, for without that we would not be able to do our work.

Belarus
2009
Pat Hennessy and Kenny O'Flaherty are embarking on another road trip to Osipovichy Orhpanage in the Minsk region on September. Details later when they return.
2006 - 2008
We have teamed up with Dunshaughlin Chernobyl Group, Co. Meath and Chernobyl Orphanage Development Programme of Dublin. We transport loads if aid for them, mostly building material and the volunteer workers fly out in the following weeks to renovate the orphanages. In the past we have gone to Rudensk and Smorgon orphanages.
2000 & 2004
We teamed up with Charleville Chernobyl Foundation, Co. Cork, to transport their aid loads to various orphanages and schools in the Brest region.
2002
We were the first to transport machinery (an excavator and site dumper) across Europe to do voluntary work and bring them back again. We went to Grozovo orphanage and farm to do some site work (see 'Our History').
Drivers
Frank Hussey, Danny McCarthy, Emmet O'Donnell, John Maunsell, Paul O'Donnell, Tim Breen, Tom O'Donnell and Kenny O'Flaherty all have driven across Europe on these missions.
Albania
2003
We teamed up with Bus Éireann (Cork) Children's Project to carried 2 trucks of aid and an ambulance to Albania under Cradle who operates mainly in the Balkan region. We went to Shkoder where the aid consisted of food, clothes, medical and hygiene products. See 'Our History' for more.
On our trip to Albania Jim Gould, Cork, and Kenny O'Flaherty were the drivers and we were donated a truck by Mercedes (Ireland) Ltd. and a container by Iarnród Éireann (freight dept.), Cork.
